raduation day has come and gone. Celebrations of “no more school ever” have faded and college room furniture donated to the next incoming student hopeful for the year ahead. Graduating college is a big day, the start of a new chapter in your life. Maybe you will move back home with your parents or have found a job in a new city. Wherever this new chapter in your life starts, it will start with new community.
Divorce is nasty.
Talk to anyone who is going through or has survived a divorced and unanimously they will say, even in the best of circumstances, divorce is hard. When children are involved in divorce, the stakes and emotions are even higher. From the day one spouse says the words “I want a divorce”, life and the marriage relationship will never return to the place it once was with unbroken trust. There are some who would say that they truly love Jesus. However, they have had bad experiences in church that make them not want to be involved in it. Lots of people do not attend church, or have any desire to be involved. They hate the church. Single Life: I Can’t Afford to Tithe Many of us have struggled with tithing at times. Either we do not want to or simply think we cannot afford to. Should we budget for that? Is it a sin not to tithe? What is the difference between a tithe and an offering? As single adults, it is not odd to want to venture out in the dating world and meet new people. Sometimes it may be hard finding a date at work or among your friends. People often explore dating sites to find the perfect date. But is that biblical? Come to single life as we talk about what dating should look like and how to approach the online dating scene.
It would be wrong to only discuss one eliminate of God’s character. Now that we know that God does judge, we can talk about His wonderful Grace. Have you ever wondered how God can be angry at sin and yet full of love? Join us at single life as we dive in deeper to understand God’s wonderful Grace and the fullness of God’s character.
