In our Police, Fire, Military and Families Facebook group, we had someone share a story that he wasn't proud of; however, it was one where he felt that he needed to decide that the rules didn't apply to him.
He and his wife were drinking at a friend's house after packing an overnight bag and planning on leaving in the morning.
He received a call from his son who told him that he was about to take his own life.
Without thinking, he hopped in his vehicle and sped down the road to get to his son, noticing the red and blue flashing lights that began to follow him.
In the end, his son was okay but he was arrested.
In today's episode, Coach Ashlie Walton and Detective Walton discuss the morals that might alter our judgement when it comes to breaking the rules...
As well as when to decide that the rules may not always apply to you.
