In this episode, contemporary Yoga teacher Christian Mollenhof reflects on his journey. From a traditional apprenticeship with Swami Janakananda Saraswati in Sweden, he now runs his own Yoga & Meditation school in Paris; teaches online and has become a husband and father.

With reflections on integrating a personal practice into daily life, we explore the down to earth practices of karma yoga, khechari mudra; and experiencing a unified field in prolonged states of heightened awareness and increased sensitivity.

This week is a bit of an ancestral odyssey normally reserved for autumn. Join Mark Morey & I as he tells a tale of breaking through the veil of fixed thinking and discovering a magical treasure island that held a bumper cache of acorns in December.

We explore Marks relationship with one of his ancestral food sources, a seasonal ritual he renews each time the harvest time comes around. We look at the practicality of harvesting & processing acorn flour and also dive deeper into reflections on the impact of seasonal foraging on raising healthy and resilient children.

I've been on the national grid for nearly a year now. This weeks podcast is a creative response to being cut off from the service.

I pay a unit rate of 16.35p per kWh and a standing charge 29.05p per day. That's the price I pay for my family to keep warm, heat food and water, take hot showers, see in the dark, work from home, communicate with the outside world and play beats. All well and good, but what happens when the grid goes down?
