Taipei Noir

Previously: Lummix found more than she bargained for in that warehouse card room, and now Chung Ho says she's a suspect. The kind of trouble that doesn't wash off with tea. This episode: Over a cup of the real Legitimate Jade, Lummix waits for someone to reach out. Someone does. Mei-ling finally answers her Telehelo, but she's not saying much, and the Kid needs somewhere safe to disappear to. Nobody in New Old Taipei does anything for free, and Madame Wong is no exception.

Previously: Sedated in a hospital bed, Lummix took on a case: a missing sister, a shady brother in law, a bill too large to be honest.

This episode: The trail leads to a warehouse card room that's supposed to be empty. It isn't.

Lummix Lee is stuck in a Downside hospital bed with a paperback of The Maltese Falcon and not much else. Her old police contact Chung Ho drops by with a warning dressed up as a favor: important people are asking about a package.

Then the painkillers kick in, and Lummix slips somewhere else entirely.
