A couple weeks ago, I talked with Amanda Wingle, the Campus Sexual Assault Coordinator with the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center. We discussed the role that the center plays in the Albany area, the importance of counseling, how people can seek help, and about their event, Take Back The Night, which is an international event with the mission of ending sexual, relationship, and domestic violence in all forms. Their event in Albany is simply one of hundreds of events are held in over 30 countries annually, and I’ve been honored to have gotten to perform at their event for the past several years, and it is an honor now to share all of this with you today.
