This week's podcast is released early because everyone is asking for the interviews from the Arise Benefit dinner :) Since we don't do much editing when interviewing people, this was a fairly easy podcast to edit for you guys. This week the guys finish up Romans 5. They also had a couple prerecording conversations that just had to be included.

This week the guys don't get too far into Romans 5 because of all the rabbit trails they take. We've spent the last few weeks being beaten up by all the things we can do wrong. This week we begin talking about how we can know peace with God.

This week the guys discuss Romans 4. The big take-away this week is that our works should be love driven. We don't need to work to be saved; we show our love to God and our thankfulness for His salvation through our works.

Casey wanted this added: Oh in the podcast. I said imputed actually right too. As a believer your sin is not part of your added value. But as a nonbeliever it is a negative values added to you… man I’m smart.

Later in Romans we are told because our new heart desires to please God our sin because of Jesus is not imputed to us but removed. My goodness. My brain couldn’t say that in the podcast.

Back in early December, 2024, Casey and Nate got together to record their very first podcast. This was before there was a name for the podcast, before Casey and his family moved to Jonesport, and even before there was a focus or plan for how the podcast should go.
