At first, I was not really impressed with âTake me Homeâ. I very much dislike women who throw themselves at guys, especially 10 minutes after meeting them. However, having read all her previous books and knowing that this author delivers powerful stories, I continued reading. Well, guess what? I was not disappointed; Kelley did it again with this contemporary romance.

I loved Matt from the get go, that mysteriously wounded vibe that he gave had me hooked from page 1. I enjoyed his character and how it developed throughout the book. Like a phoenix, he built himself from ashes and had the balls to do it right on his own backyard!

Kayla took me longer to like, her enthusiasm to try and learn new things regardless of how difficult they seemed. The way she found the good in everything and her love for the land eventually won me over. But when she kicked his Ass to the curve for lying, thatâs when I fell for her character!

I am really looking forward to Jonahâs demise and the moment Webb finally sees whatâs right in front of him!

Really Enjoyed

I really enjoyed this book. It had a good mix of sweet and sexy moments. I didn't care for long it took them to make things right at the end, but other than that, I really liked it.

Read this book!

I frick fracking loved this book and I absolutely cannot wait for the 2nd book. I loved the setting of the West Virginia mountains and the logging industry and maple syrup production. Loved Matt and Kayla and... well I just loved all of it. Read this book.
