Not a review of the last 2023 release for Shahrukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki.
How is 2013, 10 years ago?
Listen to me blabber about exposition in films and why No country for old men is a gem that I should have watched a decade ago.
Listen to me fan girling over the show 'How to with John Wilson' for 20 minutes with a 3 minute apology in the start for not releasing an episode sooner.
NO SPOILERS!
Okay, so this is a little clickbait. This episode is different from the rest of the series as I do not get into the character study of the Black Widow but rather discuss the genre of Superhero movies and how Marvel revolutionised it. There are no spoilers here so you can listen to this guilt free. But if you are interested in the regular philosophical discussions on characters, tune in next week for our regular programming.
Feel Free to play this at 1.5x.
Darjeeling Limited is perhaps my favourite Wes Anderson film. This episode is a deep dive into the communication pattern amongst the three brothers of the film, Francis, Peter and Jack Whitman who embark on a spiritual journey through India, to 'process' the loss their father. If you haven't this movie yet, I hope this episode atleast peaks your interest.
Enjoy this take two on the Whitman brothers!

New Episode, New Season. A sequel to the Tara episode of the previous season, we cover Ved. An episode about stories and finding yourself in the stories. Enjoy this Take Two on Ved!
The season started with Shahrukh Khan, the season ends with Shahrukh Khan. Welcome to the season finale of this year's edition of Take Two. I won't talk much about the episode as I have this very obvious bias that won't let me describe it objectively, but this is the most fun I've had while editing and rewatching my podcast and perhaps that accounts for something doesn't it. We (me and Akanksha Tyagi) are celebrating one of Shahrukh Khan's most celebrated characters Mohan Bhargava from Swades in this episode.
Enjoy this take two on Mohan Bhargava. I'll see you until next time in 2021. Thank you for tuning in!
So this is a rather special episode. We talk about films and characters on the podcast but rarely do I get the opportunity to discuss the process of filmmaking as a whole. So on this special episode of the podcast we have Shikher Kalyan (IG: shikherkalyan), who has worked as an assistant director in several big network projects, from Netflix to Discovery Channel. He has also directed several short films of his own which you can find on his website linked below.
In this podcast we discuss the process of making films from an industry point of view and compare it with the process of making a film as a stand alone YouTuber. So if you're into filmmaking and want to understand what are perhaps the industry standard practices (if not the best practices) of a making a film, you shouldn't miss this episode of the podcast. Enjoy this special episode.
