Playing small hasn't gotten me anywhere. The only time I know I have felt myself actually grow mentally and emotionally is when I stood up and did something that I originally felt I had no place doing.

Taking up space doesn't mean being loud, irrational, pushy, arrogant or anything like that. Its being intentional with your time, words, feelings, and actions. It ACTUALLY getting into the room and being heard. It is speaking up when you aren't being taken seriously. It is getting away from being a wallflower in life and taking main character energy back.

Quit playing small to make anyone else happy. Do the things that YOU actually want to do. Take up the space you deserve to have.

You belong in any room you want to be in.
