This week, meet our Musical Theatre Acting Coach, Kaleb Sells! Kaleb is an actor, singer and director with a B.A. in Drama & Theatre Arts from Columbia University in New York City. He has acted in multiple plays and musicals, performed in numerous cabarets and concerts, and directed a multitude of shows, including the premier performance of M. Statin's The Insects in New York City's East Village.

We are so excited about our Podcast Guest this week! If you are an actor or involved in the TV or Film industry in Ireland then you know Ali Coffey. Ali started in the industry at 16 years old and in 2002 launched AC Casting. Since then she has developed her presence in the market and in 2008 launched Fishpond, a central database for actors in Ireland. Ali has cast an incredible number of commercials to even begin to mention! Her recent TV & Film credits include, 'Fate, The Winx Saga', 'Michael Inside', 'Outlander' & 'Black Sails'.

She has also appeared in "Dublin Old School" by Emmet Kirwan and Dave Tynan. More credits include 'Red Rock', 'What Richard Did' and 'Normal People'. She was recently listed in The Irish Times' '50 People to Watch in 2021'.

Lauryn Canny is an Irish actress who burst on to our screen in 2014 in “Amber”. Since then she has been working consistently on projects including Normal People, Dating Amber and a music video for Dermot Kennedy. In 2017 she won the Rising Star Award at Irish Screen America for “Peel”. There is no doubt that we are going to continue to see Lauryn on our screens!

In this episode we meet our host, Shauna Griffith. Shauna landed her first film role at the age of 5 playing a leading role in short film ‘Pluck’ directed by Nessa Hardiman. She also played ‘Jenny’ in the RTE Drama ‘Amber’ directed by Thaddeus O’Sullivan, Chloe in ‘Dreamhouse’ project directed by Jim Sheridan and starring Saoirse Ronan, as well as being cast in the feature Film ‘Life’s a Breeze’, directed by Lance Daly, and various TV commercials.

Some of Shauna’s students have landed roles in Game of Thrones, Esso Campaigns, the new Aldi TV and radio commercial, Valhalla, Riverdance, the Animated Short; among many others! Shauna is very experienced in the audition circuit and understands how to prepare young people to feel confident going in to auditions. She more recently has worked with clients in the US, Canada, the UK & Ireland to improve their acting for camera skills.

She also took over Take2 Casting Agency and is working to further build relationships within the industry, both domestically & internationally.
