Apparently the guys are now referring to their lengthier breaks as season breaks🤷‍♂️. Regardless, they likely could not have chosen a worse time. They missed the coronation of a new champion, two new number one contenders and bunch of other storyline teases. A little late this week but the boys finally got around to discussing the July 22nd episode of NXT. Mixed bag this time; No more double champ, the women show up but their favorite brand sullies it’s name, a fantastic first of what is sure to be an amazing series of triple threats and we had a re-enactment of everyone’s favorite Rocky movie in the main event. The July 15th episode of NXT had its work cut out for it and it unfortunately could not live up to expectations. Hector and Joseph were disappointed pretty much all around; lesser showings of two established rivalries, two top tier women were brought down to lower levels and an obscene lack of Undisputed Era. The good news is they’re optimistic about upcoming weeks and they have a new member to the Robert Stone Bandwagon, welcome Tom Phillips

July 8’s episode, night two of NXT’s great American Bash. Night two didn’t pack all the fireworks of night one but saved the best for the finale. There was some pleasant surprises and some disappointing expectations but we got what we came for in the showdown of unstoppable forces, Keith Lee vs Adam Cole.

For once their absence was planned and even though the movement is still ongoing the guys decided for their own mental health to reconvene and give themselves somewhat of a break from it. They had a lot to catch up on; a not so good show, a pretty great Takeover, and a serviceable follow up episode.
