As a business & social media strategist, I am always telling my clients that they need to post consistently on social because it can appear as if they are closed if they don't. But, I stopped posting on my own social media accounts for over 3 months! During that time I was working very hard behind the scenes. I didn't have the time or energy to show up on social. I discovered a few important things and replaced my corporate income during that time.
