Elise Hay is the founder of Organized Sanctuaries, where she works virtually and in person to create simplified, organized homes. She’s passionate about helping her clients build and maintain small, daily habits that have a big impact on how they live their lives and keep their homes simplified. Elise believes that we all deserve to live surrounded by the things that make us feel calm, loved, and happy, without the distraction of unneeded clutter. So, she’s here to share how families can get and stay organized, without getting overwhelmed. When she’s not busy creating organized sanctuaries for her clients, she’s busy doing yoga, making up her own recipes, and hiking with her family. She lives in Seattle with her husband, two daughters, and puppy.

If you're not posting on Social Media are you actually working??
As a business & social media strategist, I am always telling my clients that they need to post consistently on social because it can appear as if they are closed if they don't. But, I stopped posting on my own social media accounts for over 3 months! During that time I was working very hard behind the scenes. I didn't have the time or energy to show up on social. I discovered a few important things and replaced my corporate income during that time.
You can listen to all the tea on today's podcast episode! While you are here, take a moment to subscribe!

Today I'm chatting with Stephanie Slocum. Now Stephanie knows what it’s like to have a corporate career that looks amazing on paper but makes you feel completely trapped.
After 15 years working as an engineer, she started her business as a side project by self-publishing the Amazon.com bestselling book She Engineers. She wrote the book while working 50+ hour weeks as an employee and with three small children at home.
Six months after publishing her book she quit her corporate job to teach other frustrated professional women the people + business skills they need to have the impact they want on world, which for a growing number of women means starting their own businesses. Her step-by-step systems-based approach to starting a side business (without quitting your day job!) gets women who have no time results quickly, so they too can launch their impact-driven businesses without the financial risk of the traditional entrepreneurship path. This is an episode that you do not want to miss!
