MYTH #4 – everyone is your customer
-If you’re trying to sell to anybody and everybody, you will end up selling to nobody

MYTH #5 – I don’t need a marketing plan
-Would you go on a road trip without a map (or GPS)
-You need to know where you’re going to find true success


MYTH #6 – I can copy what my competitors are doing and have the same results
-Look, your competitors may have good ideas but they’ve tested what’s going to work with their audience – their ideal customer may not be exactly the same as yours and you have no way of knowing that.

MYTH #7 – inbound marketing is just a fancy word people use and isn’t relevant for growing my business
-Inbound marketing is my favorite form of marketing. It’s all about providing value to your audience to get them to sign up for your email list.

3.Capture emails with a lead generating PDF
a.One of the best ways to communicate with potential customers is via email
b.People hold their email tight, it’s sacred
c.You need to give a good reason for someone to share their email – that’s where the PDF comes in… FUNNELS….


4.Place clear call to actions on your website
a.Put a direct call to action on the far right of the navigation bar
i.Make sure it’s bold and stands out
b.Place a CTA above the fold in the middle of the page
c.Place CTAs all throughout the page all they way down

There are 4 types of people. You’re either an employee, self-employed, a business owner, or an investor.

If you’re an employee, you have a job. If you’re self-employed, you own your job. If you’re a business owner, you own a system and have employees… people who work for you. If you’re an investor, you put your money to work for you.

What kind of person are you? Where are you headed? If you’re an employee, work to being self-employed. If you’re self-employed, create systems, hire employees, and become a business owner. If you’re a business owner, invest in assets that can make money for you passively.

12.Never let your inner child die. Have fun!
13.No one is a mind reader. Voice your opinions.
14.Never feel bad about promoting yourself
15.If you value your time, protect it. Say no to anything you don’t want to do or to anything that doesn’t bring you joy or energy.
16.Spending time alone is one of the best things you can do
17.Celebrate your accomplishments.
18.If you care too much about what other people think, they’re in control of you. Don’t let that happen.
19.Be so busy improving your life that you don’t have time to criticize others.
20.Listen to understand, not to respond.
21.Hang out with people from different walks of life. You’ll find you can learn a lot.
22.You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first.
