If you are of a certain age, catching movies on network and basic cable was a thing. But it was a specific thing because they often could not air the entire movie without some edits for content. This often took the shape of cutting out entire scenes, but most notably for replacing lines of dialogue with “fake swears” and ludicrous phrases to cover the tracks. These are our favorites.
