In this week's episode, Sonny and Alex cover Howl's Moving Castle from Studio Ghibli and somehow manage to turn it into a rant about Marriage Story. Alex discusses the importance of backstory and Sonny tells us why he thinks sound in movies should be appreciated more. Our hosts also give their two cents on collaboration and film school.

This week, our hosts review one of the greatest and most influential sci-fi movies of all time, the original Planet of the Apes. Sonny and Alex also give their opinions on the Justice League Snyder cut and discuss what it means for fandom as a whole, as well as talking about Unreal Engine 5 and how they think it will revolutionise not only video games, but movies too.

Sonny and Alex give their take on 80s classic The Breakfast Club. Alex also talks Game of Thrones and Sonny discusses the effect of nostalgia goggles on modern sequels and remakes. Our hosts also pay tribute to the life and career of the late comedian and actor Jerry Stiller.

Sonny and Alex round out their retrospective of the Godfather movies with the third and final instalment, the ever controversial Godfather Part III. Our hosts also discuss the 1920 German expressionist film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and as always cover the week's entertainment news.
