This week we welcome Brandon Morris to T&J. Brandon serves as the music and youth pastor at New Pleasant Baptist Church in Gaffney, SC. In an effort to get Brandon loose and comfortable, we play a fun game to determine Brandon's music IQ from the early 2000's. Following some brief, yet adorable, duets between Brandon and Marty we dive into this mysterious person and his work in ministry. Starting in high school, we discuss how Brandon went from faking his faith to finding his faith. He graciously provides us with some funny stories along the way; stories that his parent likely did not laugh at while they happened. Shout out Terry and Anita. We discuss his marriage to THE Kayla Morris and how he tried to mess that up along the way as well. Lastly, we dive into the topic of worship, being a worship leader, and how modern worship songs impact the church.
