She found herself at a crossroads after a career in sports medicine and then raising her children as a stay-at-home mom when a couple very close to them divorced and her husbands' job situation changed. This started a journey for Abby to not only feel like she could support herself but also contribute to the household income. We discuss how women, like men, can attach their identity of "what they do" as a part of "who they are" As women, we need to acknowledge this can lead to grief or a feeling of loss as we move from one part of our life into another.
