in this weeks episode alex gives a breakdown of her journey moving to london... the city of... high expenses... the joke is every time you walk outside you owe the city £5 per breathe and they aren't wrong. is this suppose to be an inspiring story? maybe? does it get sad? obvi. is there a trigger warning. yes, please do be aware of that. but all in all, we landed where we are suppose to be, either forever or just this chapter.
hello! welcome to 2024 how has it been so far? good I hope. today's episode is our VERY FIRST episode! in this episode alex gives you an intro to her new podcast and what it's all about. if you can't tell by our podcast name it's all about taking the punches, the punches of life. grab your drink of choice (I don't judge) go for a walk, drive responsibly and listen up because you just made a new friend that's along for it all.
In this week's episode Alex spoke with London based musician Lea G (@lea_g_music) and do NOT include the "h" folks! These two gals sat and discussed the music industry, of course bringing up being a woman in the industry and bringing up topics that hopefully spark a conversation to heal this broken industry. In the second half Lea bravely goes where no person should have ever gone.... Into the lyrics of high school Alex's manila folder that she wrote. Join us in a cocktail as we laugh, cry (okay that one is just Alex from embarrassment) and roll our eyes at men.
In this week's episode Alex spoke with music journalist, Sophie Walker over a nice Jack Daniel's cooler. Discussing how Sophie got into music journalism, the great perks to the job, and how Sophie refuses to take the spotlight (no matter how deserving she is of it!)
In this week's episode Alex sat down with Amy, the starter of the protest movement in London called "Reclaim the Streets". Alex and Amy discuss women's safety, exchange stories, and talk about relationships over a nice DaquiriRose.
On today's episode Alex is back with her good friend Grace as they dissect her recent date and get up close and personal with Alex unlocking a new achievement in life.
Alex spoke with photographer Hannah Driscoll. Listen along as they sip 'Pink Haired Yoongi' cocktail and talk about Hannah's background and introduction into photography... But most importantly hear these two fan girl and debunk the rumors of K-Pop. #got7forever!
