Tala tells stories of her experience growing up as an American with Palestinian heritage, her time working with Syrian refugee children in Lebanon and her work to battle polio today with UNICEF.

She has a deep family connection to this issues and the work that she does today, which she opens up about. In addition, she leads a multi-dimensional life on the side working to provide values-based career coaching with her organization CORE, as well as working to spread awareness of Middle Eastern culture through the organization afrika.
