"I started thinking about employee advocacy because I did know that content shared by employees receives eights times more engagement thank content shared by brand channels.

And, eight-six of employees say being a part of a formal advocacy program say it had a positive affect on their careers."

Brittany Anderson is a communications professional who has entered into the employee branding space as both the employer brand and community lead for VideoMyJob.

She is approaching four years with the organisation after serving major communications roles at the the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and digital marketing agency, King Content.

“We spend quite a long time working at the business case stage of things because by the time comms or TA comes to us, they’re really knowledgable about of what EVPs are all about.

The things is, there’s a need to get the business to come on the journey and be educated on this early on.”
