Happy Holidays and welcome to another Christmas themed episode of Canned Air! We are joined by comic creator Wes Locher to first help us list off some of our most memorable Christmas gifts in this week’s Retro Roundtable. We didn’t always get what we wanted growing up, but sometimes it was the gifts we didn’t expect that leave the biggest mark on our memories. Let us know on Twitter what your most memorable gift was!   Then we turn our attention to Wes and talk about his comic Unit 44! Agents Gibson and Hatch forget to pay the rent on the facility's off-site storage unit, and the secret contents are sold to a couple of backwoods rednecks at a public auction. Now an alien invasion threatens planet Earth, and the agents will have to recover an item from the locker if they have any hope of stopping the extraterrestrial threat. We welcome DaiQuan Cain to the show this week as we first talk about and celebrate the greatness that Harrison Ford is! He’s stared in some of the best movies ever, brought to life Han Solo, and walked away from 2 plain crashes. If that doesn’t constitute a badass, then I don’t want to know what does.   We then talk with DaiQuan about his Kickstarter running for his comic The Silent Descendants, running on Kickstarter until January 6th. Following a hometown tragedy, a grieving family and their friends seek vigilante justice after several of them gain mystical abilities.    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thesilentdescendents/the-silent-descendents-a-graphic-novel   DaiQuanCain.com @DaiQuanCain   Support us on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/CannedAirPod   CannedAirPodcast.com   @CannedAirPod @Canend_Air

We welcome James Rolfe (Angry Video Game Nerd) back to the show this week to help us ring in the Star Wars holiday season by talking all things Star Wars!

To bring some balance to the opinions of the first six Star Wars movies, we first take a look at the prequel trilogy and find the good things to emerge from them. Despite the overwhelming amount of criticism they receive, they answer the many questions unaddressed by the original trilogy.    We then take a look at the original trilogy to find some of the flaws overlooked, or ignored, by Star Wars fans over the years. As perfect as those movies are, they still have the moments that make some of us cringe. I mean, Chewie yelling a Tarzan call? Come on!   Then we discuss our opinions of what we are expecting from the next Star Wars installment, The Last Jedi. With The Force Awakens having echoed A New Hope so much, we take a look at The Empire Strikes Back for predictions of what to expect.    So throw in some headphones, grab your lightsaber, and swing it wildly around the room as we direct the greatest sci-fi adventure of all time, STAR WARS!!!   To show your support and donate to our show, follow the link below, and Thank You!!!!   https://www.patreon.com/CannedAirPod   CannedAirPodcast.com Twitter @CannedAirPod Instagram @Canned_Air   Cinemassacre.com Twitter @Cinemassacre
