About Our Guest: Mark Iorio is the Founder and President of The Mega Group, established in 1987. Mr. Iorio was born and raised in Mercer County and currently resides in Columbus, NJ with his wife Patricia. He  has two children, Melissa and Christopher.He graduated from The College of New Jersey in 1979 and attended Rutgers University for graduate studies.  Mr. Iorio has been involved in Brand and Culture Alignment, Marketing Strategy, Planning and Implementation for his entire career. He is a former board member and the Marketing Liaison for a very successful privately held company in Princeton, NJ and serves or chairs multiple Non-Profits Boards. Mark has lectured about the “trials and pitfalls” of entrepreneurship and cutting edge marketing practices at TCNJ.  As a former elected official in Hopewell Township, NJ, he often had to balance critical issues with the needs and wants of the community. He quickly learned the art of compromise and the value of strong leadership.

About Our Guest: Dennis is the CEO of the Pennsylvania Drug Discovery Institute. Dennis is also teaching faculty at the Jefferson College of Life Sciences and S. Kimmel Medical College at Jefferson University. Previously while at Jefferson, he was also the Associate Dean for the Graduate School and Associate Director for the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med Program and staffed the University Command Center. Like many people who have a life altering experience, it changed my outlook forever, and that outlook now fuels my focus on strategic talent acquisition for Kite, a Gilead company, a leader in cancer immunotherapy.  I'm super passionate about the cell therapy business where we harness the body's immune system using CAR-T, TCRs and NeoAntigens to fight cancer. When life was teetering on the edge, I thought a lot about what I missed out on in life and in my career. I procrastinated too much, I spent too long paralyzed by the fear of failure and I struggled when faced with adversity.  When I thought I was coming to the end of the line, I thought to myself, if I make it through this alive, I am going to embrace and push through my fear, deal with adversity head on and pursue my dreams.I decided right then and there to dedicate my work to cancer immunotherapy (cell therapy; immuno-oncology) as well as inspiring, motivating and coaching executives, mid-career professionals and college graduates to achieve big goals in their work and in their lives.  Additionally, I have a strong passion for the life sciences industry which I support through being heavily networked and attending events designed to increase connections in the life sciences community. _____________________________________________________________________________________________
