Tales from A Butterfly

All of us have a dream, but how many of us are really dreaming OUT LOUD and dreaming while we are yet AWAKE?! Do we even know HOW to dream awake? In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, I decided to look deeper into how HE managed to dream OUT LOUD while being AWAKE. And I am now even more encouraged to keep marching on towards my dream!

With 10 seconds left in the game, people had counted the Eagles out. People had already counted their game as a loss. BUT, with what one announcer deemed as "Impossible" they ended up winning the game, proving that MAN can NEVER count you out!

Happy New Year!!! And what better way to embrace and celebrate the blessing of a new year than to live the life GOD has planned out for you and operating in the gifts that GOD gave you, without letting fear, shame and embarrassment from your past stop you. Your past may have helped you grow you into who you are today, but the past does not define you, nor exempt you from getting to the next level in your life! So stop hiding from your past and instead have the courage to face your past, including the mistakes that hurt you but grew you, and tell it, "Thank You" while at the same time seeing the destiny that is in front of you and saying, "Next!"

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue:..." The words you speak will either give life to your dreams or kill your future.

The choice is all yours…

The Valley of the DRY bones... How many times have you been at a LOW point in a LOW place and surrounded by what seemed like dry dead situations, dead dreams, a dead marriage, a dead-end job and even spiritually dead people; dry dead bones. And you felt like all hope was lost. But maybe, just maybe, GOD is asking you, "Can those Bones Live?" And your answer, may very well depend on your outcome.

When training for a marathon, there are runners who have amazing yet tough workouts to get them ready for the marathon. They train in such a way that their body seems primed and ready for the race. But sometimes on race day, while running the course they hit "The Wall" and all their training seems to leave them. This same thing can happen in the marathon race called life. You are off and running with your gifts and running with your purpose...and then you hit "The Wall." Now what?! Sit back and listen as I tell you about "The Wall" that popped up on me and yet GOD somehow still brought me through it! And if he'll do it for me, he'll do it for you!
