Many times we put a time line on when we want things done, on when we think they should be done and on HOW they should be done. And when it doesn’t happen, we feel like it won’t happen. We may feel like we started late using our gifts and talents, that we are too old and that the time has passed, because sometimes it doesn't look like what WE think it should look like. But we have to remember that it is GOD who directs our paths, and even when we sometimes step off path, he will guide us right back on AND allow us to get to our destination right when we need to get there.

As we journey through this thing called life, we continually have different metamorphosis in different areas such as our marriages, our relationships with family and even our relationship with GOD. BUT one thing we need to remember is that even when you get triggered and remember life BEFORE the metamorphosis, if you can remember it, that means you SURVIVED the metamorphosis...so NOTHING can take you back there! Just like a butterfly cannot return to life as a caterpillar, once you have gone through your metamorphosis, you cannot return to who you used to be! Your current caterpillar WILL one day become your future Butterfly...

Sometimes we need a reminder that we are worthy of everything GOD has for us. Sometimes we need a reminder that we have everything we need inside of us to accomplish everything we need to accomplish. Sometimes we need a reminder that we WILL go through situations in life that make us want to retreat and stop dreaming and sometimes stop living...SIT BACK and LISTEN UP to some true words of encouragement from myself, Pastor Jamal Harrison Bryant, Michele Thornton and Danni Starr...They remind us that it CAN be done, that our dreams CAN become our reality!

And while some have chosen to not reveal what has happened to them, instead, choosing to suffer alone, in silence, some have joined movements like #metoo, speaking up on the assaults against them. And some who have started a movement and ministry on their own, bringing awareness to sexual assaults by sharing her story and encouraging others to do the same. How many times have we heard GOD giving us an instruction, but, because we don't know if it is really him, we don't follow the instruction because either we don't want to do it, our pride gets in the way and we want to revert to our "old" ways or we are worried about what others may think. But what if we missed the very thing that we had been praying and asking GOD for because we weren't obedient. Sometimes the thing we want the most is connected to the thing our pride and flesh want to do the least.
