Host Andrea Kremer takes us back to 1984 when NFL Films Steve Sabol interviewed former NFL defensive end Deacon Jones. Deacon explains how his NFL career got started and how he took on his famous nickname. As a player, Deacon developed the head slap and described what it was like to play 'in the trenches' in the 1960's. Deacon feels like he never played the game dirty and never allowed anyone to play dirty against him. The Hall of Famer prides his health and longevity in the game to training on the beach with weights and combat boots. We also hear a no holds barred account of Deacon's relationship with famous coaches and infamous opponents.
