Stress is destroying us as teachers.  Let's face it, teaching is one of the most stressful jobs out there.  We teach and influence the lives of our future leaders but we teachers are burning out and falling away from the profession due to stress.  But don't worry teachers there is a solution to our enemy called stress and that is SELF CARE.  In this episode, we will take a deeper look at what stress does to us as teachers, and I will share a personal story about how stress nearly took everything away from me.  Ladies and gentlemen... this is the Tales of a Terribly Terrific Teacher challenging us teachers to no longer allow stress to destroy us and the work we do.

Here's how you make a grown man cry Monday - Thursday and once more on Sunday... you make him a first-year teacher.  I don't know about you, but my first year of teaching will go down in history as the worst year EVER. But even though it was terrible and still gives me nightmares, I learned one of the most important lessons about what it means to be a teacher from that year.  Desk flipping, fights, fires, and freakouts, It is only by God's grace that I made it and learned that being persistent and present is what teaching is all about.  Join me as we take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about my first year of teaching.  No matter what your first year was like, I guarantee that you will be able to relate to this powerful podcast.
