The party has survived the trials of the lake, but Smiley has one more test that none of them could have anticipated. Pass or fail, their next direction is clear: get Krasus back home. As they move on, the group slightly smaller, the sisters decide on new names (Eve and Nora) just in time to test them out on some unfamiliar faces.

The party prepares to engage with a group of uninvited guests outside their camp. Initially, they assume it will be quick as they deal with their unsuspecting prey, but when the betrayer finally shows their face things become a bit more deadly. 

The silver-haired knight finds his way to The Mole's Hole in search of an escaped prisoner. Karmen and Camille assist their rogue friends in keeping him busy as Krasus and Faela make their escape. Fight after fight occurs, sending the now separated party running for their lives. As both parties attempt to reunite outside the city, they begin to piece together exactly why they were sent on the run in the first place...

Karmen, Camille and Faela return to The Mole's Hole once again, now with a very injured Milo and a new friend that only Camille can speak to. As the three of them await Binks' help smuggling Krasus out of the city and patch up their wounded, they find a few scattered pieces of information that don't quite add up... at first.
