The meal kit market is expected to reach $64.4 billion by 2030, increasing more than three times in value since 2021 and there's a very good chance you would have heard of HelloFresh.

HelloFresh pioneered the meal kit concept in many European markets. “We saw the golden window of opportunity to conquer untapped online space - the online grocery market, that was ripe for disruption, especially as supermarkets struggled to adapt to e-commerce realities,” said Dominik Richter, co-founder and CEO of HelloFresh.

Episode 3 features Armani Sharif, Global Head of Talent at Plentific, a leading property management software company who are pioneering real-time property operations for real world impact.

Founded in 2013 by CEO Cem Savas and CTO Emre Kazan, Plentific has transformed repairs and maintenance processes. Their end-to-end solution seamlessly connects owners, operators, service providers and tenants on a single platform, making operations simpler, faster and more efficient.

In 2021, Plentific raised $100m in Series C funding, led by Highland Europe and Brookfield Technology Partners alongside Mubadala Investment Company and RXR Digital Ventures, as well as existing investors A/O PropTech and Target Global.

Episode 2 features Adriana Hurduc, Strategic Talent Acquisition Manager at Cavalry Ventures, a European early-stage venture capital fund headquartered in Berlin, focussing on pre-seed and seed stages with EUR260+ million in assets under management.

In 2021, Cavalry received the 'Hottest Seed Fund' award at The Europas Tech Startup Awards.

Episode 1 features Louis Thorne, Global Talent Lead at a tech unicorn, Flipdish. Founded in 2015, Flipdish positions itself as an alternative to online fast-food delivery aggregators such as Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats by helping restaurant owners bring their online ordering capability in-house.

In 2022, Flipdish became another of Ireland’s home grown tech ‘unicorns’ after a $100m investment led by Chinese conglomerate Tencent.
