I came across Corey in a podcast group on social media and we hit it off from the jump.  I've been rocking with him and the Out of Bounds Podcast ever since.  His show does a great job of attracting guests from all over the globe to discuss a variety of sports topics.

I asked him to join my show to talk about the state of sports right now.

Will the NFL start its season on time?Will there be an asterisk next to the NBA Finals champion's name for winning a "COVID Championship"?Is the MLB done if they cancel baseball this year all over an argument about money?Is it fair that NASCAR fans are no longer allowed to bring the confederate flag into races any more?

We celebrate Juneteeth with a look back at the last 50 years of black cinema.  From Superfly and Uptown Saturday Night to Love & Basketball and Black Panther, my guests and I will discuss why these movies are needed just as much now as they were back then.

Joining me on this show will be author, Crystal Hickerson.  She's a huge fan of black cinema from back in the day and will give her insights on how the Blaxploitation movies reflected the culture at the time.  Also contributing on the show will be newcomer to T2Q, podcaster, Kiah Mims.  Her knowledge of today's movies will provide the book end to the discussion.

I wanted to post a recent interview that discusses the social injustices we witness on a regular basis in society (recorded on May 15th, 2020, prior to the George Floyd murder) .  

Kim Paczynski is a podcaster who is relatively new to the scene, but is making her mark pretty quick.  Her show, the One Non-Blonde Podcast, is a space she has created in order to invite people in to see what's going on in their lives.  Sometimes it's about events or achievements happening to them personally and other times, it's to get their perspective on things going on in the world.

I was thrilled to engage with her about the social injustices we're seeing across the U.S.  I have tons of conversations about the subject with people of color, which is like preaching to the choir, but what is it like to have those same conversations with a white person?

I ask Kim how she feels about racial inequality and exactly what kind of conversations do white people have with one another behind closed doors.  How does she talk to her children about inequality?

I only scratched the surface in the conversation as this occurred prior to George Floyd's unfortunate death and the riots that happened afterwards.  There are many more questions to be asked.
