Talk à Deux

Take the first 19 episodes, press them into an album next to some nice flowers you found once and photos of you on a tire swing in the 9th grade then put Season One of Talk à Deux onto the mantle, because we're coming strong with Season Two of Talk à Deux--this time, with structure! Classi discusses the ins and outs of streaming and Twitch's new, as of when we recorded it, policy regarding various words. She has good and not-so-good things to say about Call of Duty.

In our draft this time around we really dig deep for the most meaningless thing to talk about and came up with numbers. But not just any numbers, no, the good ones: 0-10. While our drafts are usually pretty even (pun not intended), Nick thinks he pretty much sealed this one away. What say you?

New year, new you! Guess who titled this episode? We catch up with one another after a brief hiatus from recording and commiserate over Twitch's asinine policies which, at the time, were new and are now simply very obnoxious. Then we talk about resolutions and goals and why we're not very big fans of either, but why we're doing both. We watched The Social Dilemma, available on Netflix, and discuss our relations--both positive and negative--to social media. But before all that, it had been a while since we last recorded and spent some good quality time, just two buds catching up. Our question this week centered on off-line hobbies and how we made time for them between all our work and time spent on... social media... How thematically cohesive! Happy fortnight since our last episode! Our gift for you is... Another episode! It's just the two of us this time around as we talk about all things travel. We play a new game and talk about holidays. If you wondered why the previous episode was ever so briefly labeled as Episode 14, it's because this was recorded earlier and by now, I quite honestly forget what else was in it, just that it's a real good one!

It's Halloween so OF COURSE we're going to talk about costumes and try to predict the trends that will define 2020's spookiest season. This was recorded shortly after the release of Crusader Kings 3, as of posting this episode Nick now has 101.2 played hours--luckily he only talks about it for maybe 5 minutes straight uninterrupted in this episode and learned his lesson and never talks about it again in future recordings! We also discuss Tik-Tok and other social media (Or, to those in the know, the soc meeds) and why we avoid them. Is Ksenia Solo the new David Paymer? STAY TUNED AND FIND OUT!

We're a Talk a Trois this week as we are joined by the mysterious Disembodied Hand that occasionally joins Classi's Twitch streams! While it turns out that none of us were particularly ambitious as children, at least one of us was very imaginative. We don't talk anywhere near as much about David Paymer as we should, but we do spend quite a bit of time talking about addictive games that we've woken up for at 3:00am to do two things and go back to sleep.
