Dr Chris Hartley who is an accredited sport and exercise psychologist and has worked with a range of athletes, their teams from recreational to Olympic and Commonwealth level.
Chris has worked across many different sports, and helps athletes to improve their mindset and develop strategies to enhance performance and wellbeing.
Notably, Chris worked at the Glasgow School of Sport for a number of years where he supported the high performance badminton programme and had the opportunity to work with some of Scotland’s emerging badminton talent.
Chris is also a lecturer in sport psychology at the University of Stirling and conducts research into how performance cultures can be used to best support high performing athletes.
The importance of the right mindset to compete at the highest levels.
Grew up playing badminton in Ukraine from an early age and eventually competed across Europe in ladies' singles. More recently moving, to Denmark and training in the Badminton Europe Centre of Excellence and all that it brings to players across the world. Hope you like it and thank you Anna.
