  • Marriage Gets REAL: Love, Daddy Issues & the Arguments Nobody Sees! | Jean & Nathali Cellent (Part 2)

    Send us Fan Mail

EVERYBODY LOVES THE WEDDING… BUT ARE YOU READY FOR THE MARRIAGE? 👀🔥

In this episode of Talk Heavy with Jean Cellent, my wife, Nathali Cellent, is back for Part 2 of our marriage conversation and this time, we're going even DEEPER!

After nearly 16 years of marriage, we've learned that love is more than butterflies, wedding pictures, and saying, "I do."

Marriage requires communication, healing, forgiveness, maturity, and sometimes learning how to laugh at the things that used to make you argue! 😂

And yes, we're sharing the hilarious story about how an argument over chicken and French fries turned into a FOOD FIGHT inside my Mercedes! 😂

But the conversation doesn't stop there.

    We're getting REAL about:

🔥 Daddy issues and childhood wounds: How experiences with our parents can affect our relationships.

🔥 Trust and accountability: Why acknowledging your past is important, but healing also requires taking responsibility for your future.

🔥 Marriage conflicts: How to disagree without tearing each other apart.

🔥 The perfect marriage illusion: Why what people see at church and on social media doesn't always tell the whole story.

🔥 Emotional safety: Why husbands AND wives need a safe place to express themselves.

🔥 Growing through different seasons: Learning to love the person your spouse is becoming.

🔥 Love is ACTION — Why saying "I love you" means nothing without demonstrating it.

One of the biggest lessons from our conversation?

    "Happy spouse, happy house!"

Marriage isn't about one person winning and the other losing. It's about two people learning to serve, understand, and grow with each other.

We also ask a question that every married couple should consider:

AFTER EVERYTHING YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH… WOULD YOU STILL SAY YES?

Whether you're SINGLE, DATING, ENGAGED, or MARRIED, this conversation will challenge you to think differently about love, marriage, and relationships.

  • Marriage Is NOT What We Expected! | Jean & Nathali Cellent (Part 1)

    Send us Fan Mail

We were young, in love, and thought we knew what marriage would be like. WE HAD NO IDEA!

In this episode of Talk Heavy with Jean Cellent, I'm joined by a very special guest my wife, Nathali Cellent for an honest, funny, and sometimes uncomfortable conversation about marriage, love, expectations, and growing together.

We got married young. I was 21, she was 20. We were navigating an unexpected pregnancy, moving to another state, and learning what it actually meant to become husband and wife.

And trust me, marriage was a WAKE-UP CALL!

    We get real about:

    • The expectations we had before getting married
    • Dating versus the reality of marriage
    • Getting married young and becoming parents
    • Arguments, misunderstandings, and communication
    • Learning to deal with unresolved childhood experiences
    • Why gifts can't replace difficult conversations
    • The importance of maturity, patience, and personal accountability

One of the biggest lessons we've learned is that marriage doesn't just reveal who your spouse is. It reveals things about YOU that you didn't even know were there.

We also open up about how growing up without a father in the home affected Nathali's experiences and why healing requires both understanding and accountability.

This isn't a conversation about having a perfect marriage. It's about two imperfect people learning, growing, and choosing to keep building together.

Whether you're single, dating, engaged, or married, there's something in this conversation for you.

  • Spiritual Fathers, Sons & Leadership: Who’s Building the Next Generation? ft. Bishop Rick Williams Sr.

    Send us Fan Mail

    Who’s building the next generation?

In Episode 6 of Talk Heavy with Jean Cellent, my spiritual father, Bishop Rick Williams Sr., returns for Part 2 and this conversation gets HEAVY.

We talk about leadership, spiritual fathers and sons, serving, honor, correction, developing people, and the responsibility of one generation to prepare the next.

    Bishop drops some serious wisdom:

🔥 “You can’t lead if you can’t follow.”
🔥 “As you develop others, you’re developing yourself.”
🔥 “Brothers get jealous. Fathers get proud.”

That last statement opens up a powerful conversation about what real spiritual fatherhood looks like. A true father isn’t intimidated when a son or daughter grows, succeeds, or even goes further. A father celebrates it.

We also talk about correcting people without destroying them, the danger of “manufactured godliness,” and the need for younger and older generations to work together.

    The younger generation has strength.
    The older generation has wisdom.

    We need BOTH.

If you’re a pastor, leader, mentor, spiritual father or mother, son or daughter or simply someone responsible for developing other this conversation is for you.

  • The Church, Truth & Tradition: What Do We Need to Unlearn? ft. Bishop Rick Williams Sr.

    Send us Fan Mail

What happens when tradition becomes more important than transformation?

In Episode 5 of Talk Heavy with Jean Cellent, Jean sits down with his spiritual father, Bishop Rick Williams Sr., for a weighty conversation about the Church, truth, tradition, transformation, wisdom, marriage, character, and learning to hear what God is saying now.

Bishop Williams challenges the idea that bigger always means better, explains why successful methods shouldn't automatically become permanent formulas, and shares a powerful lesson about spending the first part of life learning—and much of the rest of life unlearning.

The conversation gets even heavier as they discuss whether giftedness equals character, why transformation requires dying to yourself, what decades of ministry have taught Bishop Williams, and what he believes Jesus would confront if He walked into the Church today.

One statement captures the heart of the conversation:

    “Transformation begins with death.”

Sometimes becoming who God is calling you to be requires questioning what you've always done, releasing what no longer belongs, and getting back to truth.

This is Part 1 of Jean's conversation with Bishop Rick Williams Sr. and there are plenty of nuggets you'll want to hear twice. 🎙️🔥

  • Transformation Changing From The Inside

    Send us Fan Mail

What if the biggest transformation in your life has nothing to do with what people can see?

In the last episode, Jean Cellent shared his personal health and weight-loss journey and explained why “It Was Never About the Weight.” But this conversation goes deeper.

Because before your life changes on the outside, something has to change on the inside.

In Episode 4 of Talk Heavy with Jean Cellent, Jean explores what real transformation looks like through the lens of Romans 12:2 - “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

You can change your appearance and still have the same mindset.
You can change your environment and still repeat the same patterns.
You can receive a new opportunity and still operate with old thinking.

Lasting transformation requires an internal change.

Jean talks about renewing your mind, breaking old patterns, developing new habits, strengthening your discipline, changing your environment, and becoming intentional about the person you're becoming.

And this isn't just about weight or health.

It's about your faith, family, finances, relationships, leadership, health, purpose, and LIFE.

    The question isn't simply:

“What do I want to change?”

    The deeper question is:

“Who do I need to BECOME?”

    New mindset.
     New habits.
     New decisions.
     New life.

    Transformation starts within. 🔥

    📖 Scripture: Romans 12:2

  • It Was Never About The Weight

    Send us Fan Mail

What if losing the weight was never really the biggest transformation?

In Episode 3 of Talk Heavy with Jean Cellent, Jean opens up about his personal transformation journey and the realization that changing your life requires more than changing the number on the scale.

After losing 66 pounds and still counting, Jean discovered that the visible transformation was only part of the story. The deeper work involved discipline, mindset, consistency, focus, habits, health, and making a decision to become different.

This isn't just a conversation about weight loss.

It's about confronting the patterns that got you where you are, taking responsibility for where you're going, and understanding that lasting transformation has to become a lifestyle.

Whether you're working on your health, faith, family, finances, relationships, business, or another area of your life, the principle remains the same:

Real transformation requires more than wanting different results. It requires becoming different.

    Because in the end…

IT WAS NEVER ABOUT THE WEIGHT. 🔥

  • Principles That Changed My Life

    Send us Fan Mail

What principles are actually shaping your life?

In this episode of Talk Heavy with Jean Cellent, Jean gets personal about some of the principles, lessons, and wisdom that have helped shape the way he approaches faith, family, leadership, success, relationships, and life.

Some lessons are taught. Others are learned through experience. And sometimes one principle, applied consistently, can change the entire direction of your life.

This isn't about having everything figured out. It's about recognizing the wisdom you've picked up along the journey and actually living by it.

In this conversation, Jean challenges you to examine the principles you're building your own life on, what needs to change, and what wisdom you need to carry into your next season.

Because information can inspire you, but principles you live by can transform you.
