Agustin Mier joins attorney Todd Marquardt and co-host Kirk Harrison to talk about his incredible and inspiring journey from Cuba to the United States on this edition of Talk Law Radio!
๐๏ธ We have the honor of hosting Agustin, whose journey from Cuba to the USA is nothing short of inspiring. When Fidel Castro seized power, Agustin bravely left his homeland in search of freedom and opportunity. Agustin, along with his sister, were a few of the more than 14,000 children who departed Cuba for Miami as part of the early 1960's "Operation Pedro Pan" or "Operation Peter Pan". The operation was organized by the Catholic Welfare and the United States Government in Miami and Havana. He spent time at a crowded refugee camp once in Miami. His story is a testament to resilience, hope, and the enduring spirit of those who seek a better life against all odds. Tune in to hear his incredible tale of courage and perseverance! ๐จ๐บโก๏ธ๐บ๐ธ

The state bar of Texas is the state agency that governs attorney law licenses. The State Bar wants attorneys to inform the public about the law but does not want us to attempt to solve your individual legal problems upon the basis of general information.
