Connecticut state Sen. Joe Markley, R-16, was critical of Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's final State of the State address, during an interview with Brad Davis and Dan Lovallo.  

The senator also talked about a new fee added to motor vehicle registrations that is not totally dedicated to state parks and campgrounds, as was suggested, during debate on the fee last budget session.

In the interview, the senator said a preliminary headcount he has conducted in the state senate, seems to indicate there is not enough support for tolls.

Connecticut state Sen. Len Suzio, R-13, is calling for major reform to Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's "Risk Reduction Earned Credit" program.  Labeled a success by the governor, Sen. Suzio is calling the program a failure with a recidivism rate in some case of 95.69%.

In an interview with Dan Lovallo, Sen. Suzio talked about statistics from the Department of Corrections and explained the reforms that should be made to the program.

Connecticut state Sen. Len Suzio. R-13th District, is calling for an end to Gov. Malloy's "second chance" program, calling it a "failure."  

In a wide-ranging interview with Dan Lovallo and Brad Davis, the senator said he will release "stunning" numbers, showing a high-number of inmates released early from jail, under the governor's program, have committed crimes and returned to prison.

Also in the interview, the senator, vice-chairman of the legislature's transportation committee, explained why Connecticut does not need tolls.
