ACLU Massachusetts Senior Attorney Ruth Bourquin joined us to talk about their lawsuit against Cambridge over surprise fees charged to the Women's March organizers in January.

She argues that charging organizers money for protests and rallies violates their 1st amendment rights. A similar situation arose in Worcester during the March for Our Lives a few months ago when questions arose over fees charged to organizers who then crowdfunded the effort

Former Worcester Mayor Joe O'Brien joined us this morning to talk bout the Council vote tonight (6/26) on whether or not to place the CPA (Community Preservation Act) on the ballot. If the CPA is not placed on the ballot the group supporting it, Yes for a Better Worcester, would have to collect 5,000 certified signatures.
