Today's welcome back episode discusses the masquerading term which many big corporations and companies use today, and that is "Brand purpose." The umbrella term itself is used as a PR strategy to retain consumer interests and paint a good picture of the brand, but what is it exactly? Why is it so important? Do brands even practice what they preach? Is it even genuine and meaningful, or is it just a slogan?
As a part of an assignment on my Masters course at University of the Arts London, we were assigned to critically discuss an industry problem in the advertising field. On this episode, I sat down with two of my coursemates studying MA Advertising with me, Theofanis Charonidis and Aiste Linauskaite to discuss the issue at hand.
