  • ASWF Aftermath: Special Edition
Join us this week for a special edition of ASWF Aftermath  with just a little over a couple week to go until Halloween Resurrection! “The Suicide King” Ray, “The Psychotic Savior”, and a reluctant D-Mike abducted “Mr 99%” on Saturday. And nobody has seen or heard from him since except for a creepy haunting video on Facebook. In addition it appears that a mutual parting of ways has occurred between “The Infamous One” and Maxx Stone. Stone states he “doesn’t need anyone” and it apprars he may be right. After single handily defeating Lethal Injection and The Venson brothers. How long will he be able to keep this up? Speaking of keeping up it appears that Mark Wolfs demons may be catching up to him. As Steve-O laid down the challenge and he will meet the champ in a cage match. But if Steve-O loses he will not receive another shot as long as Wolf is champion. Finally after the main event this past Saturday. “The Main Event” Curtis Dawn threw Asa Morta into a casket. And appeared to gain a mental advantage. But it was not to be for Dawn as Morta in dramatic fashion. Emerged from the coffin and challenged Dawn to a match. For the ASWF Evolution Championship October 20 at Halloween Resurrection. To be apart of the action tonight feel free to call in at (347)989-1171

  • Clear & Convincing - Episode 25 - Law of Parties & Felony Murder Rule
Law of Parties, also known as "accomplice liability," provides that a person who instigates a crime, or an accomplice to a crime, can be held to be legally culpable for the full extent of the crime, even if the individual did not directly participate in the crime or was not present at the time the crime was committed.  The Felony Murder Rule states that a person who commits a felony, such as kidnapping, rape, burglary or armed robbery, can be found to be legally culpable for any death that occurs, even where there is no specific act against the victim, or an intent to cause the victim’s death.  Both concepts have been challenged by legal scholars, defense attorneys and advocates for individuals convicted and sentenced to death, or life in prison under either scenario.  Join Lisa O'Brien and Michael Carnahan at 8:00 p.m. Central on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, for a discussion of the laws, the challenges to the prosecution and to the laws, as well as examples of some cases prosecuted under either Law of Parties or Felony Murder Rule.  We're a live show and calls are always welcome at (347) 989-1171.

  • ASWF Aftermath: Dangerous Game
Just a few short weeks left until October 20th and Halloween Resurrection! And things are getting down right creepy for Mr 99% “Bad” Brad. As it appears someone has been stalking him and leaving a “calling card” so to speak. But according to a statement from Mr.99% the activity has stopped. We will discuss this tonight and see if we believe he is indeed safe. Speaking of safe no one will be safe this weekend from the anger of Curtis Dawn. “The Main Event” has been on the war path ever since loosing a triple threat at the last show! Will he be able to get his hands on the Evolution Champion? Or will “The Mistress of Mayhem” continue to be just a step quicker? Speaking of quick things quickly changed during the ASWF Championship in a hurry. As “The Elements of Perfection” tried to interject themselves in the match. And MC B-Side came to the aid of his “Friend” Mike Anthony the challenger. The ring quickly cleared leaving only those two remaining. And that’s when B-Side struck and cost Anthony the ASWF Championship! Speaking of shockers what has gotten into “Insane Shane”? In an absolutely appalling act he laid out “The Suicide King” and aligned himself with “Mr. 99%”. One has to wonder at this point can they be stopped
