With more than 5 cases of the infectious disease recorded in Nigeria, the country has seemed to wake up from its slumber. Will a delayed decision to close our borders come back to haunt us?

Less than 12hrs later, The Federal Ministry of Health has confirmed a coronavirus disease (COVID-19) case in Lagos State, Nigeria. The case, which was confirmed on the 27th of February 2020, is the first case to be reported in Nigeria. 

A patient in California who has coronavirus didn't travel anywhere known to have the virus, the CDC announced Wednesday night. And the patient wasn't exposed to anyone known to be infected.
