  • Unscripted Journey (Part 1)

This time, the hosts are in the hot seat.

I'm sitting down with J and Tae, hosts of Unscripted Journey, for a conversation that goes beyond the microphones and into the life experiences that have shaped who they are today. From marriage and parenting to their journey into ministry, J and Tae open up about navigating life together, the lessons they've learned along the way, and how their faith continues to influence the way they lead, love, and raise their family.

You've heard them share their perspectives every other week on Unscripted Journey, but this conversation gives you a chance to get to know the people behind the podcast a little differently.

Marriage. Ministry. Family. Purpose. And, of course, a little unscripted conversation along the way.

Tune in as I get J & Tae to Talk That Talk. 🎙️

  • Goals Change Everything

Your goals matter. They matter to you, they impact the people connected to you, and most importantly, they matter to God. Because when there’s no vision for where you’re going, life has a way of deciding the direction for you.

Using Habakkuk 2:2 as our foundation, we’re getting into the difference between simply having dreams and actually putting movement behind them.

You were created for more. The question is: what are you going to do about it?

    Let’s Talk That Talk.

Think it. Write it. Do it. Goals change everything.

  • Can You Handle The Truth?

Everybody says they want the truth… but do we really? In this episode, I’m confronting what happens when the truth doesn’t sound like what we wanted to hear. Sometimes we’re not looking for honesty; we’re looking for validation, agreement, or someone to tell us we’re already right. But the truth has a way of challenging us, changing our direction, and pushing us toward growth. Whether it’s in business, relationships, ministry, or our personal lives, avoiding the truth doesn’t make the problem disappear. In fact, ignoring it can sometimes cause even more damage.

The truth may hurt, but the truth can also heal. And you can’t be delivered from something you’re unwilling to acknowledge.

So the question is… can you handle the truth? Let’s Talk That Talk. Freedom starts where honesty begins.

  • The Beginning (Part 2) w/ Drew Henry

    The conversation continues.

In this episode, I sit down once again with Drew Henry for a deeper conversation about this season of life. As she prepares for marriage, Drew shares what premarital counseling has taught her, the ways she's grown through the process, and how meeting Jacob reshaped her perspective on dating, relationships, and God's design for marriage.

The conversation also turns personal as Drew reflects on the legacy she hopes to leave through her writing, podcasting, ministry, and everyday interactions. What does she hope people experience after encountering her?

To wrap things up, I ask a few fun questions, from Drew's favorite book of the Bible and why it holds such a special place in her heart, to what she's looking forward to most this year beyond saying "I do."

Whether you've been following Drew's journey or are just getting to know her, this episode offers a deeper look at the heart behind the mission.

  • The Beginning w/ Drew Henry

In this episode of Talk That Talk, I'm sitting down with Drew Henry for an honest conversation about purpose, calling, and what it means to say "yes" to God at a young age. Drew shares the journey behind launching a ministry, building a podcast network, and learning to follow God's leading even when the path wasn't always clear. Together, we explore what it looks like to pursue purpose with conviction, wrestle with the weight of calling, and stay rooted in your faith in a generation filled with distractions. We also discuss what Drew believes this generation is longing for, what she feels is missing, and why now is the time for believers to step into who God has created them to be. Whether you're searching for purpose, navigating your calling, or simply wanting to grow deeper in your walk with God, this conversation will encourage you to take the next step in faith.

  • The Moment That Changed Me

In this powerful episode of Talk That Talk, I’m opening up about the moment that completely changed the direction of my life. From being surrounded by the wrong influences to finding myself sitting in an Oakland County jail cell, I’m sharing the raw reality of the choices and environment that shaped my early journey.

But it was in that jail cell where I experienced a life-changing encounter with God, one that forced me to reflect, reset, and rediscover who I truly am. After my release, I was introduced to a mentor who opened his eyes to the world of personal development and taught me that transformation begins with changing the way you think.

What started with one book became the catalyst for a completely new mindset, pushing me toward purpose, discipline, and the pursuit of my dreams. Throughout the episode, I share the lessons I learned during that turning point and gives three key pieces of wisdom for anyone navigating a season of change, growth, or redirection in their own life.

This conversation is honest, inspiring, and a reminder that one moment can truly change everything.
