Until mental health education is mandatory in schools, and conversations about mental health are normalized. School officials, parents, and community members can work to promote awareness with their students, children, and peers to dispel myths about and reduce the stigma surrounding Jamaica's mental health (and other Caribbean countries). In today's episode, Nicketa Comb joined us to "Talk the Truth" about the importance of working to unlearn aspects of our culture that contributes to the stigma and perpetuate mental health issues.
