concept developed by psychologist Albert Bandura, refers to our confidence in
our ability to execute the actions necessary to achieve specific goals. High
self-efficacy is crucial for runners, as it fuels the perseverance needed to
overcome physical and mental challenges. For late-blooming runners, developing
self-efficacy can be transformative.
