It may be just about the end of September but it's not the end of ovarian cancer so it definitely not the end of the awareness for the horrible disease. I don't just spread awareness because I have gone through this cancer three times. Nope, I also do it for ALL those that have lost their lives to it. From the friends I have met along the way to the ones that died who were loved by friends. In particular, two dear friends that both lost their mother to this disease. :( 

I will continue to advocate for as long as I'm still here. Until there is a cure or rather until women no longer die from it the conversation will keep going.

Haven't been cussed at or flipped off in over a week. That's something to celebrate! Still have some defiant passengers with not necessarily wanting to wear their masks properly but overall it's been better. Praise God! :) 

Have you been following the story of the missing 22 year, Gabrielle Petito? Basically, her and her boyfriend went on a roadtrip and he returned to Florida but just not with her. Yep, so she's been missing and now they have found a body in Wyoming that they believe is her. :( More will definetly be coming out about this. I don't know about you but WAY TOO MANY stories of men killing their wives or girlfriends is quite depressing as well as something that angers me. LOVE DOES NOT EQUATE TO MURDER! 

Lastly, shout out to two amazing passengers I met today. A lady that is a teacher at a college and is writing a book that she says will be out in Feb maybe and will send me a copy and a guy that has his clothing apparel -- kinglishapparel.com <---check them out, they have some nice shirts and hoodies. Love my job as i get to meet some really cool folks. Ok, maybe it's just the best part of it and I don't LOVE my job. But I do love that aspect of it. heehee

What a September it has been! 

Please pray for our nation, and for the world. Just seems like evil is going around more and more. :(

Had some great ride share experiences but had a few not to great ones too. I share the not great ones more in the hopes that when you  hear about it you get a good understanding of what us drivers have to go through. This last week I was called a "Karen" --- I don't like "Karens" becasue they are associated with white women that call the cops on those people of color that are black. And "Karen" is most likely a racist woman. I am not a "Karen" but because of me saying I'll call the cops IF THE PASSENGER DID NOT GET OUT OF MY VEHICLE and for no other reason that is what happened. The lady did not even let me explain why I said that to her daughter --- the daughter who was RUDE! And that's not cool. At least hear me out before making a poor judgment about me. :( 

***People should never call the cops on someone because they believe that someone is up to something bad based on the color of their skin. Ever!!! It is wrong and a waste of the police's time.*** 

***Calling the cops or saying I will call the cops if someone refuses to get out of my vehicle has zero to do with color and 1000% to do with me wanting to get on with my job as well as not feel uncomfortable or even unsafe because someone is refusing to get out of MY car when a ride has been cancelled.***

Have I told you how rich you can be if you podcast? No? Probably because most podcasters aren't gonna get rich or even make much money. But yours truly has made almost $20. lol Good thing I'm not in it for the money. :)

Yes, yes, I am gonna a talk a minute or two or three or more about masks, again! Then about some rideshare driving experiences. And then, lastly, about Afghanistan. 

***Note: I know that the former POTUS, trump, is the one that had made some deal with the Taliban or something that was the start of us pulling out of Afghanistan in the future but it was Biden that put things into action. And what's interesting is that all those trump supporters don't want to talk about that-- in that they want to just shift blame for us pulling out SOLEY on Biden. Not surprising though. Heck, even trump himself wanted to take credit for Afghanistan...until the quick fall of Kabul. Then, in trump fashion, he spoke a bunch of crapola about how Biden messed up. Honestly, I do my best not to tune in when he is speaking. Even more than before. lol***

Oh yeah...still gonna be talking covid and vaccines. 

I started back driving full-time. Yeah baby! But have to say I haven't missed the rude passengers!

Talking all things Olympics today. Ok, maybe not all things as there really is a lot I could talk about {Simone Biles and how I love what she did to take her of herself mentally as well as physically and how many weren't happy about that...I'll try to talk about that in the future though.} but I did want to speak about some touching stories that have come out of the Olympics thus far. :) 

CONTINUE to stay safe with this Delta variant out there. We are so no where close to be covid free, no where close. But we can be if we all do our part. Wear the mask is part of it. I know I don't want to keep doing that but I will do what I have to stay safe and keep others safe too. #peace :)

I'm not gonna lie...I miss my mom big time and with her birthday coming up, even harder on the heart. First one without her. :((((

Alright, let's see what's been in the news. I've made sure to end the news with an actual feel good story I read about today. :)

PLEASE don't let your guard down with this Delta variant, of covid! Stay safe! Even if you are vaccinated and had covid...keep being proactive. 

Until we are doing with things still being not good we have to keep safe. Truly!

Oh, yours truly got the first dose of the covid vaccine. Sadly, I'm not able to get magnets stuck on me. hahaha

Yours truly is happy to report that I am getting better, stronger; however, now I have to wait for my vehicle as it has been recalled and the part (the engine) to fix it is on backlog. It could be the end of this month before I get it back, maybe sooner and even more later. That's been a real bummer. I know it's to fix a serious safety problem, but driving has been my main source of income. Frustrated. At the same time, it may what God wants as I need to continue to heal from the last six months of chemotherapy. You know?

Listen in as I talk about that and about this group of men that were in a standoff and were arrested in Massachusetts last weekend. They call themselves the rise of the moors. Very interesting at the same time pretty scary. It makes me wonder just how many groups, religions, cults are out there (across America) that have loads of weapons and are seemingly doing their own thing with not recognizing the US laws as laws that they don't have to follow???? 

Last thing guys, please keep safe. The Delta variant of the covid virus is nastier than the other ones. The rise of covid case and covid deaths is happening. Think about getting the vaccine, if you haven't and continue to be safe with wearing masks and just being smart and pro-active. We are not out of this pandemic yet, even if so many people are going around acting like we are. :(
