Northern California Musician & Teacher, Pat Hull, shares his experiences of being a father - how to model being a partner to his kids, walking the line of death & life, and what purpose he has found in fatherhood.

Racial and ancestral awareness in fatherhood are the key topics explored this month. In this segment, Mike Wofchuck, a musician of 30+ years, who has studied and played music with a number of legendary African percussionists, reflects on his interactions with African culture. He posits how to bring his life experiences into his children's lives as a way to honor and pay homage to the influence of African culture on America, while also weighing his own family's lineage.
