I get the good luck and the don't die part in relation to this movie (and yes I understand it's a gaming reference), but where does 'Have Fun' apply. At no point in this adventure are the people in the diner going to have fun. It's a mess out there and they're the ones having to deal with it. Should be called 'Good Luck, Have a Stress, Don't Die'.

We've taken shelter from the wily, windy moors to record an episode discussing Emerald Fennell's new film '"Wuthering Heights"'. We talkabout the loose adaptation, discussing character decisions and plot points that perhaps don't make too much sense, plus in honour of the two lead stars of the film we create a Top 5 list of Australian actors. We didn't expect to have a lot to say about this film, alas we do. Whether you agree or disagree, we hope you enjoy the episode.

Is anyone out here using the word 'wuthering' in any context other than to refer to this book/film? Supposedly it dates back to the Old Norse word 'whithering' in reference to the wind on a stormy day, but surely those who live in the moors are using this word? "And in Yorkshire, it's going to be a wuthering day, so ensure you've got your big coat on."

We're trapped on an island with nothing but a couple of podcast mics and some opinions about Sam Raimi's latest movie: 'Send Help'. This week we talkabout Sam Raimi's filmography, deciding our Top 5, we discuss the incredible performances from both Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien and we speculate how long we'd last if we were stuck on an island in the aftermath of a plane crash. As Linda and Bradley find themselves a long way from the office, how will their dynamic shift to make for optimal survival, and who (if either of them) will make it out alive? Enjoy the episode!

Who are they sending help to? It's not like there's anybody else about whom you can ask the question. They can ask for help and they can look and shout and burn for help, but they can't send for help. Lucky really that they had people looking for them who somehow managed to pinpoint their coordinates and search the tiny corner of the island where one of them happened to be. 'Found Help' or 'No Help' or 'Any Help?' would perhaps be more fitting titles. Alas, they probably wouldn't sell as many tickets.

These things are definitely on this week and ready for us to talkabout new Bradley Cooper directed movie: 'Is This Thing On?' We discuss the electric chemistry and individual performances from Will Arnett and Laura Dern, decide how funny the stand up of the film actually is, and create a top 5 of movies from the last six years that have been directed by actors. As Alex Novak stumbles into an open mic comedy night, will it be enough to revitalise his passion for life, and perhaps in turn for his marriage. Enjoy the episode!

Asking is this thing on? is awkward whatever the response is. If the audience say no then we have an awkward lull to try and figure out how to fix it, if the answer is yes then it confirms that the audience did in fact hear the terrible joke, and didn't like it one bit. It's an awful question. Perhaps a good alternative would be 'Do you need me to repeat a bit of it for you?' or 'Who's ready to start with some comedy?'. Just some suggestions from two people who definitely are not comedians - just hear some of the jokes we attempt in this episode...

Even in a zombie (infected) apocalypse there's time to sit down and reflect, and '28 Years Later: The Bone Temple' does just that. Hot on the heels of its successful predecessor, Nia DaCosta's newest venture into the 28 universe has music moments and gore galore, and we talkabout it all in this episode. We discuss Ralph Fiennes best performances, and decide where this film ranks amongst them, and we give our take on the end of the movie, expressing our opinions on what it's all trying to say; it's safe to say spoilers are in bound. Ultimately, we decide whether this apocalyptic horror deserves a place on our DVD shelf. Enjoy!

Suppose 28 Decades Later would be a bit much. Nobody left, just a British indie film about sheep politics and which one deserves free run of the dead farmer's fields. Actually, could be quite gripping. Not a baaaad idea.

It's time to delve deep into the fictional retelling of a real love story, the story of William and Agnes Shakespeare, depicted in Chloe Zhao's new film: 'Hamnet'. We have our Horrible Histories heads on and separate the fact from the fiction, whilst highlighting some amazing pieces of acting and detailing why this is our favourite Chloé Zhao film to date. We create a Top 5 of Golden Globe best Drama winners, as well as discussing our special skills and accents - is Shakespearean on the list? Ultimately, we decide whether Hamnet deserves a place on our DVD shelf. Enjoy the episode!

Turns out they've not spelt Hamlet wrong, their son just had the same name with a different letter. Imagine If our parents wrote a play about either of us, and just changed a letter to separate it. There'd be no question that a play called Elnis or Gwinym was likely about one of us.

This week we kick off the year with an episode talking about Timothee Chalamet's newest film: 'Marty Supreme'. We talkabout our favourite Chalamet performances, creating a Top 5 list of his films, as well as delving into the films highs, discussing plot moments and ultimately deciding whether it deserves the first spot on our 2026 shelf. 

Each episode we discuss a new film, and decide if we want it to go on our DVD shelf. The shelf consists of just 10 spots, so if it gets full, something has to go to make room. This episode marks the start of a new shelf for 2026. Enjoy!

There's a scene in this film where someone covers themselves in honey (we talkabout it in the episode), and honestly there's not many people we'd cover ourselves in honey for. I imagine you'd be scrubbing for weeks to remove that; like when you get a bit of tree sap on your finger, but it's all over you. Sticky.
