Throughout history, sound has played a powerful role in shaping how people feel and respond to the world. Ancient cultures used rhythm, drums, and music to inspire courage, create unity, and even signal danger.

So maybe the idea that sound moves us isn’t something modern at all — maybe it’s something humans have always understood.

Joined by fellow TAFE media classmates Adam and Sterling, we talk about the films people assume everyone has seen, how movie “classics” became part of our culture, and whether growing up in a different era — or with different access to films — changes what we consider essential viewing.

We also explore how streaming has changed the idea of a “classic” and whether watching these movies later in life still hits the same way.

Because sometimes the most interesting question isn’t what movies we watched — but the ones we didn’t.
