Dan and Brandon discuss the Colin Kaepernick national anthem issue at length and where they each stand on the issue. They discuss the NFL through the first few weeks and later discuss HBO's The Night Of and live action version of the Jungle Book.

Dan and Brandon give their in depth thoughts and review of the newest movie in the DC universe, Suicide Squad. We talk about the story-line and characters in depth.

Dan and Brandon kick off the show with a rant about Pokemon Go and why it may or may not be a fad. Later they discuss the latest disrupting technology, such as VR and streaming options for premium cable channels. They wrap up by discussing the latest shows they are watching and provide recommendations.

We all went for a wild and crazy ride during the 2016 NBA free agency, with the boat loads of money making its way into free agency from the new TV deal. Included in the whirlwind of emotions we experienced, Durant joined a powerhouse in Golden State, Horford went to Boston, and Howard signed with the Hawks to be "the man." We also discuss the many more free agency surprises that left us shaking our heads and also asking the question, "what the hell are the Blazers doing!?" Dan and Brandon review free agency across the NBA and dive into the Blazers plans and speculate where they go from here. Rounding out the episode, Dan gives his quick review of Independence Day 2.
