New Orleans blues musician, Anders Osborne has played at Blues & Brews in Telluride "15 times" and at the 26th Annual Blues & Brews, KVNF's Kori Stanton caught up with Anders at Mountain Lodge in Mountain Village on the last day of the festival. They talked about Anders' new album 'Buddah and the Blues' and about his organization called Send Me A Friend which is a national network of "sober friends" that helps support newly sober music industry professionals.

Canadian musicians, Belle Plaine , Blake Berglund and their band stop by KVNF to chat with Kori Stanton about Belle Plain's recent album 'Malice, Mercy, Grief & Wrath' which features a song about Belle's grandmother Laila Sady Johnson, who survived being hit by a train. Belle and Blake are on tour and hope be back to visit and perform in Western Colorado early 2020.

KVNF's Kori Stanton spoke with blues musician Samantha Fish at the 26th Annual Blues & Brews in Telluride. The two sat poolside in Mountain Village and talked about Fish's new album Kill or Be Kind which Fish says is "All about the guiatr".

Grammy winning, iconic world music drummer, Glen Velez and acclaimed rhythm vocalist, Loire Cotler stopped by KVNF to talk with Kori Stanton before their concert at the Paradise Theatre in Paonia. Velez and Cotler opened the World Music in Paradise Series produced by local musician and teacher David Alderdice . Alderdice joined in for a couple of songs in the Bamboo Room. Keep an eye out for Loire Cotler's debut solo album called "18 Wings." You can hear Loire's first single "Bye Bye Blackbird"

Composer, guitarist and singer-songwriter Hiroya Tsukamoto stopped by KVNF to perform a few of his immersive songs in the Bamboo Room. Hiroya talks with Kori Stanton about how he was awarded a music scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston and how traveling and meeting new people inspires his music and music.
