Will Owen is one half of the iconic YouTube rugby duo — Squidge Rugby! 🏉

Arguably the original rugby content creators, the brothers first began posting videos about their beloved Ospreys back in 2018. Since then, they’ve used their deep rugby knowledge and sharp humour to produce over 400 videos and build an audience of more than 250,000 subscribers on YouTube! 🤯

Widely regarded as two of the brightest rugby minds in the game, they’ve helped fans see rugby through a new analytical — and often hilarious — lens. In this episode, we dive into the origins of their rugby story, explore the often-overlooked challenges of being a YouTube creator, and of course, put the rugby world to rights…

Dave Algie is one of the most passionate rugby nauses our game has ever been fortunate enough to have 🏉🤓

He is the founder of Rugby's Lineal World Titles: the Raeburn Shield (men) and Utrecht Shield (women) 🏆

A competition similar to boxing world titles, where the "winner stays on" and puts the trophy on the line every time they take the field 🤯

Although Dave founded the competition in the late 2000's, it's origins actually date back to the original international rugby fixture! Making it both the newest and oldest competition in rugby! 🌍

Fuelled by only his love for the game, Dave has overcome major obstacles from World Rugby as he tries to grow a solution to one of rugby's biggest problems: creating jeopardy to reduce the number of "dead rubber games" / increase entertainment and investment into the sport, most significantly, without increasing the number of games in a season! 🤩
