Closing in on a milestone and closing out a month of recovery, we turn our sights on Episode 50. Suboxone vs. Sublocade, fentanyl vs. opiates, kisses vs. hugs. It's all here. National Daughters day, National Sons day, National Recovery month, national suicide prevention... every day it's a different awareness it's outrageous.

We acknowledged National Recovery Month. This week's theme was "Home". Like your environment. Sober living or back to your old scenario. It can be crucial in early recovery to find a safe space where you feel supported and welcomed.

We had a special guest in studio. He's a good friend of the show and loyal supporter and we're lucky to have a person like him in our corner. We read a heart-breaking e-mail from Michelle P. Our hearts and especially our prayers sincerely go out to her and her family during this time. We watched a couple clips from previous episode and enjoyed some good natured ribbing betwixt the four of us.

It's National Recovery Month and we're doing our part to spread the awareness that recovery is possible; however, it's an on-going process to keep us addicts on track. We can't ever let our guard down or trade one addiction for another. It's suicide awareness week and we addressed the severity of how suicide and addiction can go hand in hand.

Happy Labor Day everyone. We revisited overdose awareness day and talked about the horrific incident that took the life of a top NHL hockey player that involved a drunk driver. We played our 4th edition of Recovery Jeopady where Mike tied the series at 2-2 with a miraculous comeback late in the game.

Overdose awareness day is upon us so we compiled our overdose episode tonight. Overdose's touch pretty much everyone's lives and there's things that can be done to save more people. Overdose Awareness is life or death. We joke around a lot and try to soften the message to our listeners, but you won't find that this episode, we were all business.

But whatever, if you want to hear three dipshits banter on about nothing (besides recovery, which we take very seriously). We try to have fun.
